Creating 3D Models From a Camera Phone

Microsoft Research demos a mobile phone (cellphone) app, presumably Windows Phone 7, that creates 3D models from photographs using a cloud service.

Current consumer tablets like the Apple iPad have great touch interfaces, but pen input helps tablets to useful beyond just consuming information to creating documents.
