This new demo shows an app that uses a set of photos of an object to create a 3D model of it.<\/p>\n<p><object type=\"application\/x-shockwave-flash\" width=\"390\" height=\"220\" id=\"bcExperienceObj0\" class=\"BrightcoveExperience\" seamlesstabbing=\"false\" data=\"http:\/\/c.brightcove.com\/services\/viewer\/federated_f9?&amp;width=390&amp;height=220&amp;flashID=bcExperienceObj0&amp;bgcolor=%23FFFFFF&amp;playerID=605729513001&amp;playerKey=AQ%252E%252E%2CAAAAAAEgZvo%252E%2CjStb8wH-jnKKfspX0-PYNE5za6m3bvHq&amp;isVid=true&amp;isUI=true&amp;dynamicStreaming=true&amp;%40videoPlayer=847251096001&amp;autoStart=&amp;debuggerID=\"><param name=\"allowScriptAccess\" value=\"always\" \/><param name=\"allowFullScreen\" value=\"true\" \/><param name=\"seamlessTabbing\" value=\"false\" \/><param name=\"swliveconnect\" value=\"true\" \/><param name=\"wmode\" value=\"window\" \/><param name=\"quality\" value=\"high\" \/><param name=\"bgcolor\" value=\"#FFFFFF\" \/><\/object><\/p>\n<p>Interestingly in an interview over on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.technologyreview.com\/computing\/37021\/\">MIT\u2019s Technology Review <\/a>site, it sounds like this is actually a phone app (Windows Phone 7 I&#8217;d assume), with photos being uploaded to a cloud service for processing.  Whether the result is a full 3D model that can be viewed at an angle, or imported into other apps, I&#8217;m not sure.
