{"id":743,"date":"2010-05-22T17:29:44","date_gmt":"2010-05-22T17:29:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/refraction.co.uk\/blog\/?p=743"},"modified":"2010-05-22T17:31:42","modified_gmt":"2010-05-22T17:31:42","slug":"google-wave-for-apps-premier-and-domains","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/refraction.co.uk\/blog\/2010\/05\/22\/google-wave-for-apps-premier-and-domains\/","title":{"rendered":"Google Wave for Apps Premier and Domains"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I meant to post something up about this the other day\u2026 it\u2019s just a quick post about Google making Wave available for <a title=\"Google Apps for Business\" href=\"http:\/\/www.google.com\/apps\/intl\/en\/business\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\">Google Apps Premier<\/a> and <a title=\"Google Apps for Domains\" href=\"http:\/\/www.google.com\/a\/cpanel\/domain\/new\" target=\"_blank\">Apps for Domains<\/a> customers.<\/p>\n<p>If your Google Apps running on your domain, you can add Wave by going to your admin control panel, clicking &#8216;Add more services&#8217;, finding Wave then clicking &#8216;Add it now&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>What\u2019s more you can give your Apps users a nice friendly URL for Wave, for example \u2018wave.mydomain.com\u2019 in the same way as the other Google Apps.\u00a0\u00a0 Simply <a title=\"Google Help for CNAME\" href=\"http:\/\/www.google.com\/support\/a\/bin\/answer.py?hl=en&amp;answer=47283\" target=\"_blank\">create a CNAME<\/a> for \u2018wave\u2019 in your domain DNS records, then from Admin console, go to the Google Wave Settings page and click the \u2018Change URL\u2019 link.\u00a0 Enter in your details and you\u2019re away.\u00a0 (More detailed instructions are available from Google!)<\/p>\n<p>Now if only anyone else I knew used it!<\/p>\n<div id=\"scid:5737277B-5D6D-4f48-ABFC-DD9C333F4C5D:f2dbf5a2-66a1-489b-8a34-25b07d45ef89\" class=\"wlWriterEditableSmartContent\" style=\"padding-bottom: 0px; margin: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; float: none; padding-top: 0px\">\n<div><object classid=\"clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000\" width=\"425\" height=\"355\" codebase=\"http:\/\/download.macromedia.com\/pub\/shockwave\/cabs\/flash\/swflash.cab#version=6,0,40,0\"><param name=\"src\" value=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/eenNKqBjW8k&amp;hl=en\" \/><embed type=\"application\/x-shockwave-flash\" width=\"425\" height=\"355\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/eenNKqBjW8k&amp;hl=en\"><\/embed><\/object><\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Google have made Google Wave available for Google Apps premier and apps for domains customers.
